Empowering Local Leaders & Communities

It’s as simple as knowing how to use energy wisely.

The Central California Energy Watch (CCEW) is a collaborative program between Pacific Gas and Electric Company, the San Joaquin Valley Clean Energy Organization, and local governments in Fresno, Kern, Kings, Madera, Merced, Monterey, Stanislaus, San Joaquin, and Tulare Counties.

Through this partnership, we identify public agency projects and programs with long term energy savings that will lead to integrated energy solutions in hard-to-reach and disadvantaged communities.  We are committed to helping our communities grow and thrive through clean energy, while maintaining a rural character and being able to adapt to local concerns.

We will continue to empower local leaders and their communities to make choices that will create a sustainable future. By allocating resources to businesses, local governments, and members of each community, we will be able to create a strong connection that will enhance the territories that we live in.

Knowing what is being spent, where and why - that is a necessity for any smart planning to take place.
